Artists’ love for kidney patients
Proceeds from the annual Sri Lankan beauty pageant have been awarded at the rate of Rs. 5 lak each for the years 2015 and 2016 up to now Rs.10 lak for dialysis treatment of kidney patients donated by intervation of Model shop owners Sangeetha Weeraratne and Shereen Kumaratunga

Samasthalanka Kidney Patients Association is a voluntary organization dedicated to the health and social well-being of Sri Lankan kidney patients and their families, and is the oldest kidney patients' association in Sri Lanka, made up of kidney patients, doctors, artists, intellectuals and the clergy.
