Scholarships for Patient Children

Objective:

  • The project’s primary goal is to support the education of children whose parents suffer from kidney disease. We aim to help these children succeed academically, enabling them to attend school, universities, or NVQ courses, and ultimately build better futures using their own skills.

Target Beneficiaries:

  • Kidney disease often affects the primary income earners in families, leading to financial strain and impacting the education of their children. This project focuses on supporting these children from families with kidney patients. Scholarships are provided to ensure their education continues despite the financial difficulties faced by their families.

Scope and Scale:

  • Over the past eight years, our association has provided monthly scholarships and school supplies for 200 children from kidney patient families. Scholarships have also been offered to children of kidney donors.

Key Activities:

  • Providing a scholarship of Rs.000,000 per child.
  • Distributing necessary books and stationery according to each child’s grade.
  • Donating school bags, shoes, and other age-appropriate school equipment.
  • Insurance coverage for the children (details to be added).

Timeline:

  • January to December each year.
