Free Hemodialysis Project

Objective

Main target of the project is to strengthen and to save kidney patients who are doing the dialysis treatment.

To make a quality life for a kidney patient before going through a kidney transplantation.

Target Beneficiaries

Dialysis is the treatment for people whose kidneys are failing. Dialysis performs the work of your kidneys, removing waste products and excess fluid from the blood. This treatment is very essential and important for a Kidney patient until he/she goes through kidney transplantation. Through our Hemodialysis project we have been successful to provide two dialysis treatments per week for each of the kidney patients free of charge. This way we were able to save hundreds of lives of kidney patients until they successfully get a kidney transplantation.

This project is mainly focused on the kidney patients waiting for kidney transplantations.

Patients with kidney disease and kidney failure.

Scope and Scale

Our association was able to continue the care center project for the last 11years, save the kidney patients by giving them free dialysis twice a week.

Key Activities

Patients will receive dialysis treatments free of charge for twice a week

Throughout the year from January to December.

Expenses for year 2022 for hemodialysis project each month was approximately Rs 4243321.00

Expenses for year 2023 for hemodialysis project each month was approximately Rs 7959391.50 approximately

Impact

Around 25 Kidney patients are benefits each year. Dialysis is the lifesaving treatment of all the kidney patients.
